What the site provides
Hivly provides calculators and explanations of UAE household costs based on published tariffs, laws and official guidance. The results are estimates for information. They are not a bill, a quotation, a statement of entitlement or a decision by any authority. Read the disclaimer for the limits in full.
Accuracy
We take figures from official sources, record where each one came from and date it, as described in our editorial and methodology policy. Even so, authorities change tariffs and rules, sometimes with little notice, and a calculator cannot see every detail of your account or contract. We do not guarantee that the site is complete, current or free of errors, and you should confirm anything you rely on with the relevant authority, your employer, your landlord or a qualified adviser.
Your use of the site
You may use the site for personal and business purposes. Please do not:
- scrape or copy the site in bulk, or republish its pages or calculators as your own;
- present Hivly’s results as an official figure or as advice from Hivly;
- try to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or overload it.
Quoting and linking
You are welcome to quote a figure or short passage with a link to the page it came from. Linking to any page is fine. The text, calculators, design and code of the site belong to Hivly, except third-party material such as photographs, which belong to their owners and are used under the licences credited on the about page.
Names and trademarks
Names and marks of authorities and companies, such as DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, RTA, Salik and Parkin, belong to their owners. We use them only to identify whose figures a page explains. Their use does not mean any endorsement of, or connection with, Hivly.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources and other sites so you can check our work. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.
Advertising
The site shows ads served by Google AdSense. Ads are not endorsements, and we are not responsible for the products or services advertised.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Hivly and its operator are not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on its results, including payments made, not made or disputed on the basis of an estimate.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date in the margin shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site means you accept it.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
